Postpartum joint pains may arise soon after delivery or after some weeks or even months. to deal with these pains and aches, you must take enough rest. Prevent lifting any heavy weights. Do have some light workout as it enhances blood circulation and thus provides relief.

you need to consult a doctor. May be you are suffering from a kind of arthritis. Meanwhile also start taking calcium and iron supplements. It will ease the pain. do not take any pain medicines without consulting your doctor.

Andominal Pain
I had a normal delivery five days back. I started having abdominal pains two days back. It was unbearable. I consulted with my gynec who just gave me pain medicines. When i asked her the reason, she told me it is due to uterus contracting back to its normal size. I am still having pains. I dont know what to do....... - Shubhangi [View Message]
