Feeding:preparation of food

hi,
i dont find enough time to prepare dal-water or moong-water before offering it to my 5+ month baby, on same day. so, i was just thinking to prepare it one day earlier and keep it in freeze, then boil it the next day and feed my baby. but, i am just worried that it is not good, and weather i shud prep it fresh on same day. any suggestion?

from other' s views here. My baby has not started solids yet. But I do plan to make her baby food and deep freeze them (like those bags that you get for bm freezing) and thaw them before I give them to her. Ive seen no reason not to give babies food from the fridge or the freezer. Moms ,atleast in the country where I live, freeze baby food in ice trays and give them in small mesh bags when babies start to teeth. That' s supposed to soothe their gums. And also, when you can give babies frozen bm ,then why not food?
Many parents buy ready to go food jars and feed them from these jars. They would have been sitting on the store counters even long since your baby was born. If that' s OK, why not home made food that was kept in the fridge over night? There' s no logic in saying not to give babies refrigerated or frozen (of course after thawing) food.
Google for more info and you will get fabulous answers.

never ever do that with small babies....u must must always gv them fresh food ...no matter what....wash..fruits...veg ...grains...dals...properly b4 giving ...so that traces of fertilizers...or any kind of dirt comes out....
plllllllssssssss dont ever think of that....dont feel bad but tell me one think how long it takes for u to make food for a baby ..not even 5 mins...

im working ...
to save time i have bought 1 litre hawkins pressure cooker...believe its very useful ..in making dal ...i just take 1 and a 1/2 tsp dal...put lil turmeric ..ghee n salt....n cook for 2 whistles....n its fullly mashed same thin g with kchichdi..n veg n soups....
1 more think the moment i enter kitchen in morning ..first thing i do is soak this dal in water ....i enter kitchen at 5.45am....by 7.30 i put this in cooker...n since the quanttiy is so less n cooker is so small its gives 2 whistles in 1 sec....
n i will take her for bf..n rush off to work...
this is ur baby ..take care dear...
never gv her anything stale to wat...or even fruits n veg cut n kept n open for a long time....same goes with milk .....
