hi, yesterday I was making ragi powder for my baby... i sprout the ragi first but when after roasting it I was grinding the ragi, little moisture was there, can we make it sun dry after roasting to make sure that it is dry completly...

hi,,,,
1)soak a teaspoon of ragi overnight. 2)Grind it well in mixie adding sufficent amount of water.
3)filter it using a nice and clean cotton cloth into a clean vessal (u used to cook for baby). u can find few grain residues in the cloth,,,u squeeze and extract remain juice from it.
4) Now u can add Sugar or jaggery for sweetness
5) cook ragi well,,,it should b wel cooked(atleast for 15 min) and constantly stirredwhile cooking( otherwise it will get burnt).Use low flame .

I am doing like this,,, and my baby is very happy with her porridge.
