Iam a working mom of 15 months old kid, staying in Bangalore. My son is often suffering from cold and chest congestion and coz of this he is not eating properly. Earlier he used to eat two idlis, dosa, upma, rice with dal etc, but now he is not at all eating any solid stuff. He is eating only Raagi, oatmeal (sometimes) and some fruits if we force him to eat. Coz of chest congestion he is vomiting the food if we force him. So please suggest me with any home remedies for the chest congestion and how to start with solid food again. Since you live in bangalore I can recommend a ayurvedic doctor, who treated my son with chest congestion. I live in US and when my son got this congestion couple of times, the doctor here said he might have childhood asthma and nobody in both the families have asthma, then I referred my childhood doctor and my father told me not to worry and sent medicines through speed post and I started giving him, initially she said 7 days and it still didn' t go so when I called her she told me to continue the medicine(almost a month) and now my son is perfectly alright, he is eating food ok..and doing fine.
