Sleeping:Niot sleeping during the day independantly

Name: August Mom

Hi!
My baby is a 11 weeks old. He sleeps for roughly 6 hours straight at night (after 11pm) & even if he does wake up in the middle of the night I just feed (BF) him and put him back in his crib- he falls asleep by himself almost immediately.
Problem is that during the day (between 9am and 10:30pm) he refuses to sleep in the crib and will only sleep if he is in someones arms.(mostly mine)
This leaves me with no time to do anything else.
initially i tought that this maybe due to the fact that its dark at night, less noise or any other disturbance, but even if we keep him inthe crib at 9pm (when its already dark & quiet) he wakes up.
Cant figure out why he does this and how to get him to sleep during the day.
Any advice, tips?

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
