This particular problem should have been in the behavioural problems of children but iam writing in this issue as iam unable to figure out,what is wrong??.Iam I responsible for the mess in my life??. My son is 11 yr old,right after his birth i had seen a terrible time with my inlaws.Somehow with time I have managed to put myself on side but the most of all who got affected was my kid.He lies quite often,would not listen to me.He would revolt to whatever I say maybe even for his good.Iam feeling helpless day by day.He is losing interest in studies,wouldnt study even if he has his exams on his head,He was my only hope in this bad atmosphere where Iam barely surviving and he is also turning against me.No matter whatever I do for him he is never satisfied,I did everything for everyone including my husband but he too is a bit indifferent to my problems.I feel left alone,I dont feel like living If I tell my son OK fine live the life as you want he would even throw more tantrums saying no I will not do such a behaviour again, From tommorrow I will be a good boy I promise etc. etc. but this trend goes on and on ,Iam fed up I have no one to talk to Iam very very depressed.....pl. help XD replied. Your problem is more or less similar to mine. I am also facing this problem and my son is in 12th standard. Because of our not handling him properly at the right age - he shows tantrums every time. He is so casual in studies and never respects our feelings. He has to face board exams - but still he is too casual. Sometimes yes you feel helpless - i even consulted doctors, astrologers, vaastu, etc. but without any help.
Ria - I finally decided to ignore him for the time being. I suggest you also to do the same - And try to follow \" SERIOUSLY\" . Give him what he wants - I mean - the atmosphere. But be quite and don' t at all argue or discus with him too much. Let him be. Atleast for some time. Try to react totally opposite to what he can expect. Because sometimes - kids try to attract attention and do all these acts. I think you try to do for atleast 10-15 days and then see. I wish and pray to GOD that God gives you enough courage to fight this problem. I know things will be fine soon and Don' t worry at all. Have faith in God. Please
