Hi,
Today was my 6th monitoring(Bcoz my follicles were not doing good) Today doc. told me that it' s ur 30th day of cycle and my blood work is not showing good estrogen amount...Now She wants to put me on injectibles(i was on 100mg clomid earlier) I don' t knw if injectibles better than clomid..And also she wants to put me on birth control pills for 28 days and when the period starts she will again do the baseline and etc.
i don' t understand why is she putting me on birth control when i m trying to get pregnant...Plzz help.

Birth control pills are usually given for the month before the flare so that there will not be a leftover cyst (corpus luteum) that could become reactivated by the high LH levels at the onset of the flare stimulation.


Have faith, take the pills. Its for your good.

From what I have understood ,are you having a diagnosis of PCOD in which case birth control pills are given to normalize periods .
