Can any one with blocked tubes. my wife both the tubes r blocked. with one failed ivf. Can tb drug cure the blocked tubes. Any couple with the same problem plz advice.

Scientifically speaking ,TB heals by scarring , so chances of opening of previously blocked tubes after TB treatment is not possible exceptions are very early tubal infection which may open up spontaneously.

Surgery may open the tubes ,but the tubes still remain nonfunctional that is they cannot catch an egg to transfer or may cause a tubal pregnancy which is unviable and dangerous too.

IVF is the best option provided the endometrium lining is still healthy.

I' m in the TB treatment course now.I would like to know as to how was TB diagnosed in your wife' s case.

There are many mails on the INFERTILITY SOLUTIONS BOARD who have got successful immediately spontaneously after treatment for blocked tubes.Go through their mails them too.It has made me opimistic as I have a tube blocked too.

I underwent laparoscopy surgery. The doc. detected yellow patched outside my wife´ s uterus. They said that is tb patches.

Irfan,
Visit a well experienced good reproductive doctor, not a gyn.Now a days any thing can possible.I have not gone through tubes blocked.but i think it is correctable.if not still don' t worry, she still have chance to conceive through ivf.Have faith in god.
