Hi Ruchi,

Im about 17 weeks pregnant and i too experience a slight breathlessness sometimes. As for breathing exercises and meditation they are excellent for the baby if u do the correct ones. If your in india you should get Baba Ramdev' s dvd of Pregnant mothers. It is excellent since it guides you to all the exercises and the breathing exercises also you should do. I do the breathing exercises he shows and they are really helpful. they help with the nausea also at times. if you cant get hold of the dvd the best one to do is the \" änulom velom\" - where you close the left nostril with your thumb and then deep breathe in from the right and then close the right nostril and breathe out from the left, then breathe in from the left, and hold the left nostril and breathe out from the right. u can do it for around 5 min 2 times a day.

hope it helps you in some way.
Take care and dont worry
Puja

hi
My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]
Help for your sis in NJ
Ravs, your ideas are out of date, since your sis is in NJ she should join a good prenatal class [Lamaze, Bradley etc] and get updated information, also her physician will guide her on diet and her self care please don' t give her advise based on the info in this mail of yours. Breastfeeding support is also available.... - Sameera [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
