Feeling very embrassed regarding my doctor, when I go for checkup she always put her hand inside me for internal examination.

Still I am 16 weeks,
I hope somebody might have experienced it, Please share your views

Thanks

my first pregnancy doctor was not putting his hand inside rather had a small instrument,he used to insert that.after 3 months he stopped checking like that.and this time my doctor is different,he did all u/s scans from outside only from the first month itself.if u r in India u have a lot of option,u can go to another doctor and consult.
all the best
bye

Hello,
I don' t think there is any need to do internal examination at this stage of pregnancy..generally doctors do internal check up uptill three months..at this stage they do only external check up...I think u shud talk this matter directly with doctor or u shud consult some other gynae regarding check up..

Take Care
Ruchi...

hi
internal examination is done by a lady doctor na!!don' t feel embaressed.i had to go thru the same when i was pregnant for my first baby that doctor was a male.first three months doctor tested me internally.then later he used to do the scanning from outside that is on the stomach.don' t worry,u should not feel shy in front of the doctor.u have too get used to this becos when ur delivery time comes it will be more than one person in front of u, and u cannot feel embaressed at that time,so get used to this.try to feel confortable as she is also a lady doctor.
all the best
take care
bye

hi
My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
