Hi Lakshmi,

Have you tried mangoes? Kids love mangoes usually. Also try giving him kheers. suji or rice kheer.
I noticed you give your son vegs with dal 2 times, he might be bored with it. You have to keep changing their menu to keep them interested.
Try giving him mashed potatoes with milk and cheese mixed.
dalia with fruits, idli/dosa
fruit yogurt
plain cheese
rasam and rice. keep trying new things.

I have a 9 month old baby...and he too is a bad eater...and i know how it feels...
Take it easy with your baby..and don' t be so hard on yourself....All babies eventually eat well and they all will grow into healthy children...
Have you tried playing any of his favourite songs on TV while you feed him...That really helps with mine...I play few of his favs repeatedly and he is in a daze and doesnt realize that I' m feeding him...and finishes his food in 10-15 min...Earlier before I introduced the TV funda, it used to take hours to feed him 2 spoons of cereal...So give it a try ...

Forgot to mention...Are you sure he is feeling alrite? My baby , when he doesnt feel good with his tummy or is generally not feeling well, refuses food...If your son hasnt teethed yet, he could be teething as well...
If we can rule out that he is not unwell, try playing fast songs on TV or the laptop .
And also try variety in his foods..try the yobaby stuff from Stonyfields...you get different flavours of yoghurt..and you get them enriched with DHA and Iron too...Real good stuff for babies...
Good luck !!
