what time of the cycle does the procedure for IVF start?i' m going to get IVF done in June.since i' m expecting my periods this month around 25th may..........so when would the injections and scans start?my doctor os out of country so there' s no one to answer my questions.pls reply.thx.

Hi Mrs.Rene,
Sorry for my late response.last 10days I was in India with my wife, So I couldn' t log in regularly.
Mrs.Ria has explained in detail.On 21st day they will start luprid injection and on your next period third day they will start hip injection which will be little painful.

Hi Rene
There are two protocols in IVF.One is long protocol another is short .In long protocol in the 21st day of your cycle inj. lupride will start.In short protocol in the 1st day of your cycle inj. lupride and simultaneously other ovulating inj. will start. Starting of lupride inj. is starting of IVF cycle which will down regulate UR LH hormone. But it is your doc. who will decide which protocol she or he will follow in your case. In my case long protocol was given .
