Hello,

My son is 3.7 yrs. He is a chatterbox otherwise. But when asked what all happend at school he will jsut tell the routine things like teacher told stories, then ssongs etc. but he is not telling anything new happening in the school. I come to know about the happenings like any new topic taught from some other kids' parent.

Even they complain that their kid doesnt tell everything at a time. But my question is how to make kids talk about t he happenings in the school. Resource replied. Hello Shibani......

Talking is a learned habit. and to make kids talk - we need to LISTEN! really LISTEN. They must know that we want to LISTEN!.
If we appear to be in a rush then they think they don' t matter ( Eric Berne - Transactional Analysis: having healthy children ).

Secondly, how is he in school and class, how many children in the class, does the teacher involve all the children - does the teacher involve your son, are there group activities? where does he sit in the class? does he have friends? so many questions there. Have you been for a parent teacher meet? what do they say? Check this out too.

Give him time, attention and we must make them feel we are interested in their world!!.
