Hi everybody

Im in deep trouble..I need all ur suggestions to sort out a solution..To begin with my story...Right from the begining i wanted to have a successful career and also wanted to be indepensent....I did my BSc and did a NIIT course together.Soon after my BSc degree I got a job placement thru NIIT.this was in 2000.I also started doing my MCA together along with my job..I was doing well but due to recession during the 2001....I cud not get settled in the company where I worked coz the entire department was dissolved. But then luckily I joined in a very small company which was started very recntly then.I worked there for around 2 yrs..until I got a MCA degreee..but soon after I completed my degree my parents had got me married and we had to leave India with in a month..But all the people in the company were dead against it and they dint want me to leave the job with in such a short notice..but it was totally not in my control...everything just happened in a months time..Bcoz of this rift I cud not get my releving letters...I just left the country abruptly .I dont have even a experience certificate or anything...Now after returning to India I came to know from one of my ex-colleagues that the company is closed and all the people have actually left the
country to pursue their own career. Now I really need a job..but If i talk about my past experince I will be asked for all the papers that I dont have...
Iam very depressed...I have registered in few job sites.....Iam really frightened when I get calls from the companies or consultancies..what do i do..I have heard people faking things but I really dont want to take up the dishonest ways to prove my experience which is genuine..can somebdy pls tell what I need to do now?

Hello Jaya.........today it is a world where you just prove you can do the job!. It does not matter how long you have been in a job and weather you have papers. If you have the stuff - people will know it and that is all that matters in the IT world.

Regards

Hello Jaya,

Although you dont have the relieving letter, you must be having the appointment letter of that company right. Apart from this, if the company provided you with the salary slips, you can show that to your new employer and explain everything to him as the company is closed now you cannot have the relieving letter. you can also give your ex-boss contact details to prove that you worked there. Plese do not try to fake. You will get into more trouble.

And yes, do not get frightened of any calls from companies or consultancies. Be Confident and am sure you will get the job.

I was just seeing the post.. i guess that AAA did not give the best suggestion, however you are no one to Judge her.. OMG how could you tell something so harsh to a girl.. Its abt certificates so keep your comments related to that, It really talks abt the real person you are.. sorry but I' m totally judging you.

Jaya Sorry abt Diverting away frm you question, I had faced the similar situation when i moved out as well... but sometimes if he the company is fully shutdown we really cant do much, but in UK they dnt ask letter they ask for references as in number to call so i did have help that way. The best you could do is follow up with your old mates and see if you can track your HR person as they will have letter heads to issue you something.

ALL the Best

Dear Jaya,
Pl. do not despair. U already have 2 years of solid experience. Does not matter if the company has closed down. If you have any details about the company eg. when it was started, when it closed down, and contact details of your ex-colleagues, u can furnish this information and mention the name of the company only in your resume. When they actually speak to u, u can say that it has closed down due to some reasons. Also, confidently and franklt tell them that U got married within one month' s time and could not get any experience certificate. Sorry about that. Also talk more about what kind of projects u did and what your experienc is in and what r your strength, rather than feeling guilty about bot having a certificate. It does not matter. Becoz if the hirers feel that u r a confident and postitive person, they will hire u anyway. All the best and apply aggressively, u will soon find a great opportunity.

you can explain in your cv why you do not have the evidence for that particular job and your inability to get it now as the company is closed.I think always, honesty is the best policy.

Firstly Meeta,
I do not have any kindof blocked mentality. U know I am on the recruitment board of a successful company and we deal with fakes very very harshly because that is what they deserve. Today they r faking certificates. Tomorrow they will fake their work and sales too ! That can be very harsh for the company and for others involved in it directly and indirectly too. Honesty is the best policy. Yes I do agree my words are very harsh and hurting, but they speak the truth. god never forgives anyone who falters and that includes me as well.

Shalini,
u wrote to AAA ... " God will never forgive u for this and AAA, . Well u do not deserve it anyway. "
Well, it just shows ur blocked mentality. Not that I am supporting AAA for fake certificates but Shalini you definately need to watch ur words. We are here to support and suggest to each other not to stab eachother with such unkind words.

My god !
What r u suggesting AAA ? I am shocked that people r so openly saying about faking certificates.
Jaya please dont even think about it, faking a certificate is as good as committing a crime. God will never forgive u for this and AAA, I am sure u are a bigger fake in your own life. U r the same one who has posted in the other section about fiance not taking u to UK after marriage. Well u do not deserve it anyway.
