Hi guys...
i have dis problem...i dont know how to make almond powder at home.whenever i try to make it....almonds starts to get crumbled n then it start to secret oil....n i end up making paste widout adding water.so could u guys help me to make fine powde of almond.

The trick is u shud run the mixer at high speed to get powder and avoid paste like consistency.

How do u use this Almond powder ? do u give it to the baby just like that or add it to their food ?
Also how much almond can u give a 11 month old ?

Hi prao,

i havt given almond to my baby.....but in india they soak almond overnight then make paste on stone kind of thing n give it to baby in the morning...well its hard for us to do everyday...so i m planing to make powder n give it with cereal...or nething wid what my baby like.i think 1 or 2 almonds r enough for ur baby.dont give more than dat....

one more thing...almond powder doesnt turn out to be fine dry powder ..like say example rawa....
it turns out be little ...wet..like ..but its natural its coz of oil...in it...u keep it in air tight ...dry container...it will last long...
infact al the nutrition comes in that oil only....dont do anything just put straight in mixie n gringd it...

i made almond powder for the first time few days back and it turned out fine, i just grinded the almonds in the grinder and stored the powder in air tight container. till now the powder is fine. one suggestion, buy flat bitter almonds, bit expensive, good for the brains.
