Feeding:Am I spoiling my kid?

Hi,
I am a working mom with a 16 month old girl. I have to stay out for 10-12 hrs daily and the baby is taken care of by a live-in ayah. Now many a days while coming back from office I buy dolls, toys dresses etc for the baby though they mostly are below Rs.100 - Rs.150 . Now she has lots of toys and dolls and books and dresses ... and I am sure apart from a selected few of them she is mostly disinterested in the rest. Her father does not bring gifts so often, but generally he purchases those which are costlier ones. Now my question is that whether I am spoiling my baby by buying her gifts so often. Yes I really love to buy for her but I hope that this does not back fire to me later on when she would expect me to bring something or the other for her every day. My love of buying things for her also comes from the fact that during my childhood my parents never used to buy so much gifts for me ( altho I must say that we were very much loved by them and never felt that I am lacking something! It was only a wishful thinking from my part that I wanted them to bring toys and all for me evry day!)
What do you think.. should I somewhat slow down in buying the gifts so often for her?
Regards
Durba

Does ur daughter jump with joy when she receives the gifts or does she treat it as just another one.Pls. find out what she likes exactly,U r doing what u like( which is fine-but occassionally done would be appreciated). Its like when one goes to a party everyday there's no fun in it.In fact If u r out for say 12 hrs.begin with being out for 11 hrs & spend the one hour with her.
bye for now.
