Hi all,

My son is 2.5 months old and is 5kg and 58 cm tall. I will be starting work when he would have completed 4 months. My work timings would be 9-6 and therefore will not be able to BF him. Please advise if I can start him on Formula and how much and how many times. Also can I start him on solids? If yes can some one please provide me with a suitable diet chart.

i started her giving milk when she was 2.5 months....1 oz at 11am n 1 oz at 5 pm....slowly then we wud wait to check her motions..if she was able to digest it....if ok thne we increased the quntity ....this way by 4 month she used to outside milk....
when 11 days were left for me to go to work....my mil started feed' g her milk in bottle according to my office time...even though i was at home i wud stop bf her from 8am to 7.30pm ...
but my daughter harassed us a lot...she was not ready to take milk in bottle or thru vati....i use to hide ....from her ....so its better to start milk now...
but i started with cow' s milk..i stay in a joint family ..my mil never allowed me to go for formula milk....
n for solids i started from 6 months only ....but nowadays doctors advice to start solid s by 4 or 5 months...

for diet chart i hope neetu reads ur mail...she has record of all hetals diet charts...she will def help u...even i hv started noting msg boards number....with problems...but i hv just startednoting recently so i dont h v diet chart for 4 -5 month baby...
