Hi all,
I am a software engineer working in India. My husband is there is US and I will also be coming there by next month. After coming there, I want to go for any job (like any shop run by indians).
because I don' want IT field job due to the timings. Can any oone suggest me what kind of job will be OK for me.. Because I need to take care of my husband and my 4 years old baby..

hi im in chattanooga Tennessee ...if u r on a H4 visa u cannot work here its against the IRS rules and i too wanted to work but its diff getting one in US especially when u r on H4 and dont have the work permit

i m also in USA,i m in calfornia.in which state u will come,i m also a s/w engineer,but i came here with my hubby,so i dont have work permitin which state will u come,if u will come near to my place,i can give u suggestion,actually without work permit u cant do anything here.whats type visa u have?can u do job here?even u cant do any work in indian store also without workpermit.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. I am going to come Scranton in PA. I am coming in H4 visa.. I know with out work permit I can't work there.. But I can apply for that na? And I heard that it will take hardly three months to get the work permit..
Is it true? And If I want to do any kind of business like running a creche or a tution centere for indian children should I have work permit?
