Hello, I' m 20 yrs old and dating a 23 yr old guy, he lives in the US and i live in UK.We visit each other a couple of times a year and our relationship was amazing.We have decided to marry after we graduate in 2yrs.My boyfriend and i are virgins and have decided to finally have sex during his next visit in a few months.But during these past few months we argue alot, mostly about what comments he supposedly says i have said.I' m opinionated and honest and when i don' t do/say things according to his thinking he complains about it.I accept his personality and childishness, so why does he make me feel bad about myself? I' m attractive and confident within myself and my boyfriend complains that I' m too full of myself.But i' m not and many people have said im down to earth.We argue about sex alot because he thinks i don' t want to have sex as much as he wants to.I don' t mind waiting while he wants it very much.So we always argue about sex on the phone because whatever little thing i say that he doesnt agree to, he analyzes it and i always apologise about it even if i know i said nothing wrong, just to avoid arguments.He is sweet to me and loves me, but our personalities clash.The other day i drew a nude man at university as im an art student and it is part of my course, he got upset and said he will feel uncomfortable about stripping for me because iv seen a penis before.I expalined it is to do with my studies and i will fail if i do not, and he says those are his views.He almost broke up with me because he said he' s tired of me saying things to hurt him.I told him i didnt mean it but he wouldnt understand.After all we have been through he wanted to break up with me because i said something about him wanting sex alot.He said i always make him to be a bad guy and he' s tired of it.I couldn' t bear to be without him so i begged him not to break up with me.I now think im such a fool, because i thought we were soulmates but he was ready to chuck it all away so easily.Am I wrong to have my own views? why does he not accept them, if i stay with him will he change after marriage? Please help me, i apologise for the long query.
