Hi there
Just cheer up..Im sailing in the same boat as u r...I have a toddler as well..Though I dont work(i quit my career for baby)..even I face pangs of anger sometimes..I had a feeling it cud be bcoz of postpartum depression or something..and when i read ur message I felt I could share some of the things i did to change myself..I cannot say Iam a totally different person but theres some difference in me...
1) First of all give up the urge to be a super mom...Dont take too much pressure on u...Sometimes just let it go..if the baby doesnt eat..or acts
fussy..just let it go..Theres nothing to feel guilty abt it..U r a human.U take care of ur baby and also work..just feel proud that u r able to multitask effeciently.
Take some time and pamper urself...give urself a facial or change ur hairstyle..do whatever makes u feel happy.
2) Like Tanu said go to doctor for a thyroid checkup..if nothing is wrong then try to figure out the reason for unhappiness..One thing that I can suggest is to have a look at the site happiness-project .The blogger Gretchen offers many techniques to bring in happiness in our life...I followed the techniques religiously and it has brought a whole lot of difference in my life..The focus is mainly on time management and she explains the impact it can have on our lives...and the happiness it can bring in.I have started maintaining a todo list for every single task that I need to do..however trivial it is...If u dont have this habit pls start now..
It releives u of a lot of stress coz u dont have to store every single thing in ur brain..just ticking the tasks once done gives a feeling of contentment.Theres a quote that \" You increase your self-respect when you feel you’ve done everything you ought to have done, and if there is nothing else to enjoy, there remains that chief of pleasures, the feeling of being pleased with oneself. A man gets an immense amount of satisfaction from the knowledge of having done good work and of having made the best use of his day, and when I am in this state I find that I thoroughly enjoy my rest and even the mildest forms of recreation.â€
3)U said abt increase in weight...pls refer the Body and Fitness topic under beauty and grooming section..there are a whole lot of people in a highly motivated mode to lose weight.( especially Sandhya and patlivated) ..u can seek help from them..Remember.. exercising helps to secrete endorphins that keeps us happy..so try putting in atleast half an hour of a day to exercise..Also drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits..
4)Last but not the least...just hug ur little one...and say u love him the most...watch him smile back at u...im sure this one \" jaadu ki jhappi\" will take away all ur dullness and bring back lots n lots of happiness in ur life..All the best
