this is very famous brand gerber ..eg like nestle...its a US based company which makes baby food...its good...

Sorry gauri ...forgot to add....when i visited bombay from US...after i ran sirt of gerber jars that i carried from US....i used to boil diff veges.....blend it fine....similar to the gerber texture....no salt...put it in the gerber jar n feed my son....this practise i continued after returning to US also....this way my son started getting all fresh veegs.....u can try it too

hey thankk u very much for the idea...
actually there was 2 of our family members lived abroad so whenever there wasa baby in our family they wud send us anyhow or wud bring baby food from abroad ..unfortunately now there is no one in our family who lives abroad...
n i hv a baby..i dont know but im feeling bad that my baby is missing food...
may be its just in my mind...that i want to gv her imported food...i know its funny..
but can u gv me idea how to gv her fruits.....also..veg i gv her same way u said..i hv only given her annar n grapes i dont know how to gv her fruits...my in laws are very conservative my mil too doesnt hv any idea..about all this...pls help

Gauri,

I dont about new mumbai....but i am sure u get it at crawford market and breach candy in south bombay.However it is very expensive....and the needed fruits or veges may not be there also...it os for Rs 80 per jar of @nd foods.
