I went for an ultrasound today. I am on injectibles. The doc said that he will give me the HCG injection on Wednesday (day after tomorrow). He asked us to have intercourse on thursday. My question is after intercourse, do I need to take complete rest the next day?

Also, I got my blood test results. He says everything is fine. No diabetes and he was talking in the medical language :( but he said in short everything is fine. My husband's sperm count is normal and my HSG showed that my tubes are not blocked.

Given this scenario, my doc is suggesting IUI. I am still not prepared. What should I do? archie replied. Lubs,
actually many times patients are very confident after talking to Dr. and hearing that all is fine. This in itself boost chances of conception naturally, may be that will happen.
I think this story should taught you both that you have nothing wrong in either of you and just stop worrying and let nature take course and God gift you baby whenever he wants to.

Do not count too much at the end of each cycle as you only have 20% chances.

IUI is not radically different than natural conception and it will only help sperms to enter in fallopian tube efficiently than it does naturally, just in case that is a problem in your case.

try naturally this cycle as suggested by your Dr. and see IUI possibility for next cycle.

No need to rest but no need to do heavy duty after ovulation, just go on routine chores but easy.
