Hi everyone

Hope you all are doing great! Has anyone decided upon their pediatrician yet? I have a list of pediatricians that are covered under my insurance, but I have no idea which one is the best. I dont have many friends with young children, so no recommendations either:( Can we call the pediatrician's office and inquire about his practice, etc.? How do I go about it? Please help!

Hey ladies, Do any of you go to a hospital managed by a HMO and not to a doctor in private practice???? If so, do you still have a choice when it comes to choosing a pediatrician.

Thanks for bringing the subject up though, I will surely bring it up with my doctor on my next visit.

I am sure that you can go in and meet the pediatrician. That is the normal procedure for choosing the pediatrician. I think you just need to call in and take an appointment. I have choosen a doctor recommened by my friend, since she had good experience with her. Btw I am new on Board, though I have been reading the messages from the very begining.

I was going to post this topic today because I was thinking about this last night. I also don't have any idea about how to select the doctor and should we meet te doc before the baby comes or how does the process works ?

This to inform all of you that we became proud parents of a baby girl on 28/10/04 at 1.15 pm through normal delivery. She came one week early. MY EDD was NOV 5th.
