Level 2 USG gives u a detailed 3 dimensional view of all the internal organs,meaning here the baby and the uterus.I n cases like us they will take a look at the cervix and lower part of the uterus.The advntage is u can see ur baby in a 3 dimensional view which is so exciting.After that they confirm if it is going to progress or not.If this is ur first preggo and no previous bad birth history,then there is no need to worry at all.This is of significant importance only in people with repeated abortions in the midtrimester.So after going thru the scan if it is not progressing further ease ur mind and be happy.forget about this issue.My cervix length is 2.6.Once again we will pray for each other.

Thanks for the information. This is my first preg where everything has been going fine so far (By God's Grace).

The thing that concerned me was 3mm decrease in cervical length over the past one month, as I mentioned in my other post.

So anyway, my appointment is on Monday. I will stay positive until then. It is exciting to know that I will be able to see the 3D view of the baby.
