Due Date Club August 2008:Not engaged.... (

Hi frnds, a query.
in my last visit to dr. she did an internal check and told me that although m baby has take nthe head down position, the head is not engaged yet, and due to this i have 50 percent chances of a c section. as my due date is 2nd august she has asked me to wait till then, as i still have 14 days in hand. She also told me that the right side bone of my pelvis is actaully a hurdle for the baby to slip down further and there is nothing much that can be done.
So it all wait and watch game till the end, otherwise i might have to go for the c- section.
Anyways have same problem? Are ur babies engaged already? r u doing anything particular to get the head engaged?
i read that engaging takes palce before two to four weeks of due date .... not happened for me yet .... :(
please reply.
love to all ur little ones.

hi dear ,
i m in my 36th weeek now n still even my babys head is not engaged ..but dont worry as u have 2 weeks more then the baby can slip down anytime ..as they say or we read in books that after engagement delivery happens any time ..it is not so ..i belive when baby wants to come in this world it will come n how tht depends on ur destiny whts written a c-section or normal ..i would pray tht u have a normal delivery 100 times better than c-sec.but trust me thinking always about it aggrevates more of a problem ..i will advice u to go for long walks n if ask ur elders or DR first u can sit down as traditional indian style n with help of helper can wipe the floor (pochi maroo)..my mom advice me to do if thr were 15 days left for my due date ..n she adviced me to walk for 30-40 mins also ..n one more thg in india u will see not many lady' s have c-sec ths b' coz a few yrs before in india there were traditional toilets n not english so even if u r pregnant u have to sit in tht position to goo for loo or poo..reality na ...n its same they do poochi thr in last mths to facilate smooth delivery ..but before doing anythg plz ask UR DR OR ELDERS PLZ PLZ ..i m jst suggesting u rest whatever your DR says do tht
dont worry everythg willl be fine
best of luck to you ...
