Due Date Club August 2008:Severe Heartburn&Discharge with pain

Hi girls,

I am 15 weeks 3 days preggo...Am having a lot of heartburn and cold milk is not helping me at all...Is there anything else other than TUMS and Milk that would help?Would like to know if there is any Indian home remedy...

Another thing is that I have been having on and off lower abdominal cramping kinda pain...Wouldnt say that it is cramping, but feels like that...Different from period like pain, but whenever it pains, I feel warm inside...and my Vaginal discharge has also become little too watery and keeps flowing in large quantities specially during evenings which flows out together in the morning when I urinate or have a bowel movement...It' s white, so am not worried about any UTI...Is anyone experiencing the same symptoms...I have read that discharge increases in the 2nd trimester...But was just wanting to know if anyone is going through the same...

Hey Riya and Neeru,

Thanks loads for your support...

I am not eating any green peppers or red ones...Never had them from the beginning of this pregnancy, but even before that have never felt any heartburn after eating it...
I will try the curd and frequent meals...
The discharge is better now...Was a little too watery for a few days, and is still the same but not really that watery...
Had been to my GP yesterday as I felt like hearing my baby' s heartbeat ad was so happy to hear it...It was 160 bmp...
I have my next OB-gyn appt on 12th March but have to meet my old OB(high-risk) on 11th to check if all is ok with this pregnancy...I had a PPROM in my last pregnancy at 17 wks and 2 days...The cervix was closed tight so it was not due to incompetent cervix...Lost the baby...the reason was unknown and still remains...So this time, my doctors are just being extra cautious...
Do pray for me girls...I don' t wanna lose this one too...

Riya wish you all the best for the rest of the pregnancy and Congrats Neeru on the birth of your baby girl :)

Hi Vinni,

I had a baby girl in January and was suffering from the same problem during my pregnancy.

What I did was I stopped having Red and green pepper except black pepper (small quantity). along with lot of curd also make sure that you don' t eat lot at a time take small quantity of food after every two hours that will ease off the pressure of digestion on your stomach.

please do let me know if this helps you.

all the best.

hi vini

sometimes the discharge could just be urine bcoz of weak bladder control and the weight of the foetus pressing against your bladder.. BUT its best you talk to your GYN coz it may even not be urine.. i am from the July board and experienced a bit of discharge at night bcoz of the progesterone supplement which i had to insert vaginally... but other than that, there was no fluidy discharge.. so please talk to your doctor at the earliest.. don' t leave doubts floating around in your mind.. and worst of all, don' t look up the internet for information which may be wrong and misleading.. it may just scare you..

good luck!

Hi,
Can you please tell me if you had a normal delivery.
I have heard that most big hospitals have a very low percentage of normal deliveries and most deliveries are c-section... - toto [View Message]
