My son who is 5 months, for the past few nights has not been sleeping well. He wakes up every now and then has his milk and then starts crying (while asleep)and doesnt stop for a few minutes till i pick him and rock him.

Hes on formula milk and i give him khichdi with ghee and jeera pwdr.. maybe thats upsetting his stomache. This morning also he startd crying so my husband gave him gripe water and he was fine. But after a few hours he started crying after his milk again.
Please help.This is affecting everyone' s sleep and as a result i cant take proper care of him through the day cause im exhausted.

Thanks sonia replied. hi ! why don' t u show him to the doctor if your gut feeling tells you it' s more than what you think it is ! It could also be teething. some kids have teeth some as soon as 5 mnthss too. Gums get swollen and that too bothers them. It' s a terrible feeling and pains too you know. Are there any other symptoms - like cough or nasal congestion. Or if you feel it' s the food then just feed the baby solids in the day time leaving him enough room to digest till night falls. Moong khichdi is generally light on tummy but then all kids are different. So trial and error is the only way out. But to be on the safe mode you show to the doctor if this continues. All the best !
