Feeding:5 month old looking weak!

Hi all,

My son has just completed 5 months and i had started with mashed fruits a month ago. He has formula milk at all times with fruit in the afternoon as snack.
Now since the past few days i have started giving him rice and moong dal kichdi (with little ghee, pinch of salt, little jeera powder and a little hing) in the afternoon, mashed fruit at 5 and then either moong dal water at night. But off late he seems to be looking weak. His BW was 2.4kg and now he is almost 6kg. I am thinking about giving him cerelac at nights but i need more suggestions that will help me to increase his weight.

I look forward to all your suggestions.

Thanks

Dont worry abt his weight, it' s fine, in fact it is very good considering his birth weight. My daughter who was 2.75 at birth is only 6.5 kgs now at 7.5 months.
If he is really looking weak there may be other reasons, iron or vitamin supplements may help. Check with your doc
You can start ceralac if you want, just dont worry too much abt his weight
