Trying since long:sperm count..vericose vein
2006-10-20
Name: roops

hi friends..
we have been trying to conceive for around one year without any results..we consulted a doctor and as per her advice my husband underwent a sperm analysis..as per the analysis report the count is 3 percent where 4 percent is considered as the minimum level.. also the motility is less..the indian doctor here recommended us to visit a doctor in india..we are planning to come to india in december...before that i would like to know whether anybody has or had similar situation..

one of my friends said that the sperm count might be reduced by vericos vein in testicle..acoording to my belief vericose veins usually appear on legs..she also said that he might have to undergo a surgery to remove the block..

please help me..i dont know what to do? will multivitamin tablets help in increasing sperm count?

Hi,

I had a varocese, 3 months back I underwent the surgery. But increased little bit. Still not enough to concieve. I dont think so surgery will help u to improve the sperm count and motility. When I visited the doctor they havnt given me any medicine to improve the sperm count. They suggested us to go for IVF. Try with some medicines what Prema suggested.

Hope u become parets soon..
All the best..

hi roops,
1) i've never heard of vericose veins in testicals.
2) even my husband has low sperm count n low motility rate & we have also been trying since an year with no results. Urologist suggested Lycored (it has lycopene) & Zincolac (that is Zinc) for a month. his sperm count and his motility increased a lot after that but still i haven't concieved (i think god wanted us to wait more) so next month i'm going for IUI as it is the next best available solution to low motility of sperms.
well if u r coming to delhi i can suggest the best doc in town. n do come with all ur test reports.
hope u'll be parents soon.
all the best

Hello Prema,

I am also suffering with low sperm count and motility. Can you plz suggest me how to use these tablets on daily basis and let me know how long should I use Zincolac & Lycored. Can you please tell me what was the result after using these tablets.
Awaiting for ur reply...

I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
