Feeding:OK to mix little sugar in gerber ?

Hi friends,
I am mother of 5 months old, I recently got Gerber from one of my friends in US and my baby is used to cerelac which is sweeter than gerber food, so he refuses to eat that. I added a bit sugar then he eats, I want to know whether its ok to add a bit of sugar to gerber cereal ?

Before one year, sugar is not recommended. Instead, add fruit juice in his food.

Hi,

Even I use Gerber for my son. My son eats when I mix it with either BM/ Fruitjuice/ Vegetable/ Fruit/ Dal. eating Gerber like cerelac is very difficult..
