Trying since long:For archie and others.!!!!

Hi dear,
I had written yo you a fwe days back updating my ttc. I had told you that this month, My clomid dose has worked since I got a BBT raise on the 16th day. It was 97.8 from 97.3 but the problem is the temps remianed high only for two days....ON cd 16 AND cd 17. after which it has started coming down, from 97.5,to 97.4 and today cd 21 it was 97.3.
How do I know did I really ovulate. Does 2 days of risen temps mean that I must have ovulated? How many days does it need the BBt to be in that luteal phase to consider ovulation? I am so confused, am having very acute breast pains the BBt temps went up. Rest all is fine. Last month my BBt temps had gone up on CD 24 and I had my periods on Cd 34. This month I thought everything is fine but BBt risen only for 2 days has again made me confused. Fallen temps means that I did not conceive this month, right?

Do, tell me whats doing on archie, other then very acute breast pain I have no other change.

Waiting for ur response.Anyone on clomid has had same exp in the first few clomid doses please do share.
Ruhi.

Hi Ruhi,

i have been through it and i know BBT charting is rather a pain .... it hardly ever worked for me ..there are so many factors which can affect it like whether u got up from bed before taking the temps, the room temperature and waht not ..

but ideally the temps should remain high throughout the luteal phase - for atleast 12-14 days and fall on the day/ 1 day before u get ur periods ,

also bbt charting gives an indiaction of whether u ovualted that month , not conceived as progesterone causes raise in body temps and ur body produces progesterone on the luteal pahse every month assuming u have conceived,
when u ahve not conceived, the progesterone levels begin to fall and that is when ur temps fall and u get ur periods ..

so not a signifacnt raise in ur temps could mean that maybe u do not have enough progesterone in the lutela phase which could mean that u did nto ovulate, i am not a doctor , so this is not expert advice..

the only way to confirm this wpould be to get ur progesterone levels checked 7-10 days after u ahve ovulated ...

good luck,
-P

I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
