hi
i have a 4 month old baby ,i am also in USA and am managing my baby alone no one was here to help except my hubby ,above all that i had acomplicated c-sec
first 15 days my hubby took care with all the friends suppling us with food ,then i got to it ,now my experince says that after 3 months ur bay bot will not cry uselessley he will cry only for reasons i know as of now u donot really feel very happy about the happy but trust me after he is 3 months and u see him change so much that u will love it ,yes u do need to do certain things like if u sleep at 11:00 then start trying to make ur baby to sleep 10:00 let him cry a little so taht he gets hungry and tired and then give him formula milk for the night and not Breast milk cos formula is heavy and regualte his feeding habit so as he needs a feed at sleeping time and alos create an atmosphere that is switch off the lights let there be no noiese at least till he is fast asleep ,this way ur baby might sleep for a long time (mine sleeps for 6-7 hrs at a stretch, takes a feed and sleeps for 3 hrs more ),i really feel for u as i have gone thru all this ,as it is dec now so i hope is better for u

Hello niki,
same here, i don't know whether i am in depression or not.
my mood is really swinging now a days.
i haven't yet started cooking exactly, if amogh sleeps for more than 2 hrs then i go to kitchn to do something. i am doing little by little house work.
how abt you?
does kushi sleeps well in the day?
does she cries?
i feel amogh has too much of temper, without any reason he starts crying and some times i will also feel like crying since i can't stop him.
i have back pain also. oh ! i am really waiting to go to india as soon as possible.

take care ,
love to u and kushi

Hi rashmi, when i was talking to a friend who has 1 1/2 yr old boy, about my depression of handling this change,i also asked her the same question WHEN WILL MY ANGEL SLEEP ALL NIGHT & she replied ur angel wont learn that easy but u & ur dh will learn it soon HOW TO KEEP AWAKE ALL NIGHT. her son stlll doesnt sleep for more than 4 hours at a strech.

Take it easy & enjoy all this. i know how hard it is especially rightnow we dont have any energy & lots of baby work & dh also has lot of pressure as he has office, babe & household.....

Did U start cooking, Washing etc? Do let me know bye & take care & lots a love to little one--------niki

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
