You should teach your kids how to cross the road safely if no one is around them, but also tell them to avoid crossing the road alone as it is very risky and anything wrong can happen at that time.

There are many instructions that should be given to the kid when he starts his schooling. There are many things that can cause harm to your child. Tell him to cross the road properly or with the help of the driver.

If your child travels in a van or bus make sure that he knows how dangerous putting his hand or head outside the window can be. Also tell him to be careful when it comes to strangers. Tell him not to accept anything from them on the way.

Hello Sithara,
First you need to make her remember your contact numbers and the address of you home because we can not trust any one in these days. After you need to give basic principles that not to go out with unknown or even known person like wise etc.

First of all, ensure that your child learns your address and contact details. Teach your child to be wary of strangers and teach them to differntiate between a good and bad touch. Also, familiarise your child with the route to your home from school and vice versa.

Agree with Meera. Self defence classes and helping them develop a calm head when in crisis can also help.

Just make sure that your child is aware of your mobile number and house address. Teach them the way to return home from their school or make them to know about the important landmarks near your area. It is even better to make them know the other ways to reach home from some other areas like nearby shops or temples. My kid is aware of the way to return our home from his school Orchids international.

Walk the route to and from school with your children, pointing out landmarks and safe places to go if they’re being followed or need help. Make a map with your children showing acceptable routes to school, using main roads and avoiding shortcuts or isolated areas. If your children take a bus, visit the bus stop with them and make sure they know which bus to take.

Speak to your child and know his or her peer group. Win the confidence of your child, that he/she discuss with you all things in the school or among their peer group. Educate them to make right discrimination of good and bad, right and wrong.

Best Play school
Little Kingdom School is the best play school near me that caters to the age group from 2 years onwards with a curriculum based on multiple intelligence.
