I tood clomid first time last month and rcvd period on 37th day... I used to get period every 75-80 days... So I think clomid worked for me. Today I will have to start my second cycle.. Should i keep the 50mg or should i ake 100 mg. Doctor suggested me like take 50 mg for 1st month, 100 for second and 150 for the 3rd month.. After 3 cycles, I will have to make an appointment with her...But I have ovulated with 50mg iteself, so should i take 100 mg this time? Please let me know ur suggestions soon... I had taken first dose of clomid last month and I got periods on my 35th day.I have PCOS. My gynac had started with 50 mg tablets. She said that since I got my periods with that dosage may be clomid would have worked on me or may be I might have got my periods naturally too....As I had skipped for last 3 months and I usually get on my own after that.
But, She had asked me to come for a checkup every month now that iam on clomid....Every month when i get my periods I'll have to go duing my menses and get checkup done for ovarian cysts caused due to clomid....Also, she siad that since 50 mg dose is working on you she'll keep me on that only for 2 more months. She siad if u are ovulating with 50 mg then why go for more dosage. So, I'll be on clomid 50 mg for 2 more months and if it does'nt click then she'll increase the dose and call me for bloodwork during my ovulation days to check whether iam really ovulating with the tabs....Right now iam taking my 2nd round of clomid this month. Hope it works this time.
