hi Archi and all,

i am on 1st dose of clomid. I got my follicles test done. Follicles has grown wonderfully.. but no use.. i took HCG injectin on my 12th day as my follicles grown upto 18mm..

today is my 15th day. i got my follicle monitoring today also. but ovulation has not taken yet. I heard that ovulation takes place within 48 hrs.. is that true?

my follicle is not growing now. it is 18.8 mm now. My doubt is is there any chance of ovulation in this cycle? My doctor asked me to come for an ultrasound tomorrow also..

i m really depressed.. pls share ur experiences with me. looking forward for ur messages..

annie replied. hi viju, as archie said,it may take time for clomid to act. sometimes doctors may wait for the follicle to grow a little bigger say up to 20mm or so. it also depends on how tihck was the endometrium linining. don't panic. God is there. only when the time is right for you, you will surely have a kid. until then pls have patience & try. most important of all pls don't get tensed. it may hv -ve effect on your harmones. pls pls pls stay cool & enjoy life as it comes. good luck to you. annie. archie replied. each one is different and not necessarily that first clomid dose will kick in.
its quite common that after injection one will ovulate within 24-48 hrs.
