Hello,
I have Ragi seeds at home.How do i make a powder with ragi seeds?And what can i make with Ragi for my Baby?Kindly tell me how to feed my baby Ragi.My Baby is 6 Months old.Is it fine to give him Ragi so Early.

i gave the same recipe mentioned below to my daughter since 7 months. it is very good and nutritious and helps kid to gain weight. start with little quantity and gradually increase the quantity.

Hi Jyothi,
ragi is a very nutricious food. u may start raggi for 6mnths old baby, but in very little quantity. clean and soak ragii overnight/or let it be in a wet cloth overnight so that it starts to sprout. next day grind the wet raggi in mixie with soaked water.not to very fine paste, just blend it for a few seconds.then sieve it so that the covering of the seed goes off. add water and cook by continuously stirring till it is thick.start with very little quantity.
