Problems in School:To Kalpana ... Pls respond !!!

Name: Parent

This is continuation of Post \";Frustated with BLR Schools\";

Actually One month back when we went there and enquired NPS told us Kid should be 3+ for M1. On the day of Application form distribution the Lady said 2'8\"; to 3'2\"; . I am not sure why are they saying diff thing for diff ppl.
Anyway in either case he is not eligible for M1. So we applied for LKG.
Can you Pls tell me whats the next procedure ? Are they calling parents of shortlisted kids or will they put up some list in school ?
Pls let me know the procedure.

Also I am wondering if for M1 they take kids between 2'6\"; to 3' and Lkg Kids with 4+, that means kids completing LKG, UKG will be between 6 and 7 in 1st Std and Kids completing M1/M2 and M3 will be 5'6\"; to 6' in 1st std. So kids in the same class will compete with kids almost a year older to them !! What kind of system is this ??

-Thanks
Parent

Hi,
This is news to me. Whenever I contacted them (KRM and IndiraNagar), they have always given me the criteria as 2.5 to 3 . Also, they refused to give appln forms for kids who would be 3.2 by June 2007.

Anyways, the next step is , wait till November mid/end. If you are selected, they will contact you.

I have also wondered about how they are going to allow children of 5.5+ to 1st std ? Thats a mystery !.

Thanks
Kalpana
