Name: Cheery I was really waiting for that BFP and thought after we came back from our weekend trip I would do a HPT but alas...my period came.
Although, it is really heavy..I am wondering if I was pg at all and m/c. Would something like that happen? I was like totally tired these days with my period. Hope somebody can answer me. I am totally disappointed. I really thought this would be the month.

Oh well, I guess another month and another cycle.

Cheery Hi,
I am sorry for you that you experienced period than pregnancy.
Being tired is not a very strong pregnancy symptom. Without blood hCG or at least a positive urine pregnancy test you would have to consider that you did not conceive last cycle. Periods can be stronger at times and has nothing to do with miscarriage. Since you have not had any pregnancy symptoms it would be easy to consider give a trial in next cycle.

Your cycle is about 31 days, why would not you abstain from sex for first 12 days. By Ovulation Prediction Kit and start testing from cd 12, plan having intercourse only after you get LH surge.
This will substantiate your chances.

I am sorry you have to go through this painful period.

LH Surge

Hi Cheery,
FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) and LH (Lutenizing Hormone) are synthesized by pituitary gland (brain associated). The LH surge means, burst of LH amount, which happens prior to ovulation. Using Ovulation Prediction Kit, those critically detect telltale hormone LH and predict ovulation in following period. Hope I answered your question.

If you have been trying more than a year then you can take help of OB/GYN for fertility issues. However, it's very normal that healthy couple can take as long as 1-2 year without having any fertility issue. This is solitarily because each cycle there is only 20% chance of conceiving baby. As you try the chances are likely to increase. To hit success OPK are of great help.
