hi
i am not sure if this is the place to ask this, but i am going to surprise my hubby with a romantic picnic. i was thinking about pasta, sparking juice but he likes indian food. i dont know what to make. he likes punjabi food, so i was wondering if there is anyone here who knws what i should make?
maybe give sum ideas wat to make..

How about some samosas and chutney...chole, bhature also is good...or some paneer dish with poori..

A good reisling or sparkling wine is good with Indian food...

Dessert - you can have chocolate covered strawberries - or raspberries with yoplait chocolate mousse yogurt..it tastes divine.. :)

hi ,
in panjabi food simplest & easiest is stuff parathas like alu paratha, panir paratha etc. & u can eat it jusy with curd, or tomato sauce or pickle.
STUFFING:
ALU PARTHA
boil potatoes with-out dipped in water. i.e. put some ater in cokker put ring & put shallow dish(ifpossible with holes) on top of the ring with potatoes in it & steam.
finely chop onions, have green chilli-ginger paste, salt, garam masala.
heat some oil saute onnions, add chilli ginger paste & garam masala saute for some time & than add mashed potatoes & mix salt. swithch of the gas. stuffing is ready.

u can use any other vaegetables like gobi, mutter, muli etc. or panir in plae of potato. u can also combine any of this & foloow same procedure.
than make partha using this stuffing.
all man loves stuff parathas.
