I am tryng since 3.5 years.My hubby has low count and motility.The urologist had advised him medicines which he is taking for last 6 months and his count and motility improved(temporarily).He lost apetite from some timeand the doctor advised him liver test which showed 70 instead of the normal 50.He had suffered jaundce twice some years back. I have 2 IUI failures till now. I am feeling depressed as if now the doctor wil stop his medicine and the count and motility fall again then it will not be possible for me to continue IUI further.I am quite confused what shoul I do? The gynae had told me that without medicine there is no use of IUI as th count and motility are quite low( count -26 % motility -30%) Sunshine replied. Dear anie,
I too am a long time member of this board, though i see this site practically everyday, i refrain from participating coz i myself have been going through a bit of depression & hopelessness.
I can tell you a couple of things.. firstly, trust God. He knows what he's doing.
secondly try to keep a positive atmosphere at home, as we tend to forget that a baby is not the be all & end all of life.
thirdly, being positive will help your hubs as a tension is also a contributing factor to any form of infertility.
fourth, try giving him healthy foods, high in anti-oxidants, like red-grapes, broccoli, spinach etc.
fifth, if all else doesn't work and if there's mutual agreement why not go for sperm donor?
sixth and most important of all. Keep the faith & love alive.
