1.I've been reading ppl mentioning Natural Killer cells. whats that?I've been trying for a kid for 4 years.got IUI done too.I hv no problem but my husband has varicocele.

2.I never got post coital test done.i dont know much about this test,just read about it on this site.why is it done?i've got HSG done and all kind of ultrasounds done and apparently nothing is wrong with me and my periods are regular too.

3.Is there a possibility that i have left out some other important test and there could be some undetected problem with me also?

4.I havent got diagnostic laproscopy done yet but is there really a need for that when all my other tests are nor mal and so are my periods?could archie or someone answer all my questions one by one?thanks. r1 replied. 1. NK cells are regarding the immune system. As far as i know these NKcells kill any foreign object and apparently it might take even fetus as foreign object and kills it.One of the symptoms of these cells r u dont get sick for a long time.Onle few doctors ask for this test.
4. Even i was asked to do laproscopy and asked the second opinion and the other doctor said:
- laproscopy is done if u have cramps befor the periods and if they r not regular.
- Laproscopy is minor surgery and it is as expensive as ivf(8-10,000). after laproscopy one is not sure of getting prgnant as it is only diagnostic and some might get pregnant too. But with the ivf ur chances of getting pregnant r more.
-as i dont have any cramps my doctor didnt recommend me laproscopy.

I dont have answers for the 2 and 3.
