Am having horlicks everyday now.I got the idea other day after i read Jichi's message.We have a small indian shop here - i was lucky to find horlicks there.I had stopped drinking even milk shakes ! Now , thanks to this message board am again drinking milk ! My mom got really excited.I never used to drink milk even back in India.

Try this..

Hi all, If u feel averse to drinking milk..try this. Take one glass of warm milk, add a pinch of tumeric and few pepper powder. Mix little sugar and have in the morning and night. Its good for throat, cough and cold. Since we have morning sickness...the throat gets bad and leads to coldcough...by this milk..we can avoid all that and its an excellent nutrient.

Also, u can buy badam powder of MTRs and have it instead.

I too drink milk now

Hi,

This is good news. I bought Bournvita. You know, I bought Horlicks before, but I didnot like it. So, next day I bought Bournvita. And now my husband drinks Horlicks. :-)

Ya even i dont like to drink the plain milk so i got complan and have it in the milk. I have severe nausea problem early in the morning. So my gyneac suggested me not to start my breakfast with milk coz the liquid might make u feel even more wierd. So she suggested to start my break fast with some toast bread and after some time have milk. So i have got my complan to work and i use the hot water bcoz teh skimmed milk is in the complan itself. So just the hot water helps me out.
