Ofcourse every kids gets upset when he is taken away from home. Even my brother's kids cry and scream like hell. So no need to worry much about it. It is very obvious in kid to get sad when he/she is sent to school

No.. This is strange but my 3 year old kid gets excited the time his father leaves him in the pre school. He there has a best friend( a girl) probably that is the only reason he gets excited and never cries while going to school

That is a wonderful question. Reminds me of my childhood ..I used to cry a lot. I used to run all over the house to avoid going to school. My parents bet me a lot for that. But it is true that because of their efforts i'm what today what i'm. So how much ever they cry you need to push them to school

It is common for every kid to cry. If not every kid mostly all kids cry while leaving their house as they feel that they won't be able to do things which thye do at home So they cry, shout and beat and be stubborn.

my son also used to cry a lot while going to school and i find nothing unusual about it. kids are attached to their parents and hardly they have left them for few hours. first born kids are especially more attached and thus more clingy. They need time to adjust to a new surrounding that is the school in this case so they tend to cry a lot. Parents can help them by making them comfortable to the new situation and also they can take the help of teachers and ayahs

my kid is a crier. He always throws a tantrum while going to school. He never wants to go to school. He gives excuses for avoiding going to school. When i leave him at school, he cries loudly and many a times he howls. I am embarrassed. I have never seen boys crying like a girl. this is indeed troubling me. What should i do.

i m shocked at yr statement. how can you write boys should not cry like girls. This is disturbing. you should not share such kind of discriminating remarks in a public forum. if your kid is crying, you should try out to find the reason for this. You should encourage him for going to school. i hope this is helpful.
