Name: meg

my baby boy was hving 2 solid meals(all purees) a day until he complteted his 7 months. then he had cold and cough which lasted for a week when he lost his apetite. his milk intake also reduced. gradually milk intake also resumed to normal.but these days he is not interested in solids.he will complte his 8 months in 10 days.during his visit to dr last week, his weight was good.i was told to start 3 meals a day and also mashed food or thick purees and finger foods. but to be honest i am not satisfied the way my boy is eating. he will hv 2-3 tsps breakfast and same aount for lunch and dinner.i make him eat a few more but i don't like to force feed. i gv him lot of food varieties (lentils, readymade cereal, veges, fruits). he likes cheese which i recently introduced.his current routine is as 8.30 - 9 AM - 2-3 tsps breakfast
9.30 - 4 oz milk
10.15 - 11 - nap
11.15 - sometimes 2 oz milk.
12.00 - 12.30 - lunch (2-3 tsps), 4-5 oz milk
1.30 - 3 - nap
4.30 - 4-5 oz milk
6.30 - 7.00 - dinner
7.30 - 8.30 - 4 oz milk
9.30 - SLEEP

I was advised by the dr to give him food b4 he has milk.so thats what i am doing.
otehrwise he is a happy gurgling baby. very active, loves to move around evn though can't crawl. and yes, doesn't hv teeth yet !!
please help
