Hi guys,

I have found ur responses so very helpful and relaxing. Yes, I have this PCO prob since I was 22 years old. Now iam 28 years. Before that I was regular in periods. Also, my Gynac had examined me twice last 2 years and had done an ultra sound twice, she did find follicles on my ovaries, after which I was on birth control pills. She also does pap smear tests on me everytime I go to her clinic.

But, I have not been told anything about this insulin resistance. Does PCO causes type 2 diebetes in all ? Should I ask my docter for the insulin checkup too ? Other then 2 ultrasounds no other tests were run on me. My docter asked me to come every month for an checkup during my periods now as she said clomid causes cysts, so she will do an U/S. I don't have a very very heavy weight gain problem too. My height is 5'4 and my weight is 65 kgs. and it reduces soon after little exercise.....nor do I have this abnormal hair growth anywhere on my body.

Can You please tell me whether type 2 diebetes is common for PCO patients and can clomid cause cysts to all taking them. Should I also ask docter to test for my insulin levels ?
