I have a 5 month old daughter who would not drink milk at all..always fighting with her to get her drink the milk.. there are times that i get so frustrated that i feel so miserable not knowing how to make the child drink milk. I started her on solids 3 weeks back and she is ok with the solids but real problem in drinking milk from the bottle. pushing even 2 to 3oz is a major problem sometimes. i am really worried and so much mental torture. Pls. send me any suggestions..Thanks.

yes, it is very frustrating but dont worry, they will drink when they get hungry. Dont force on them. Let her drink how much she wants. Maybe you can feed her more frequently but less milk, like 2 oz every 2 hrs or so.

Hi Priya,
I know how worried you must be. When our kids don't eat or drink we get all upset. But i suggest you give some time gap between eat feed so if your daughter gets hungry then she will probably drink the milk with no problem. I just hope it works.

Hi Lakshmi,

Thanks for the reply. I will surely try this trick. As you know, it is very upsetting when you baby does not eat/drink properly. This turns in to frustration sometimes as we also phisically get very tired in this process of fighting to feed. Anyway, lets hope this gets better.

Pls. keep in touch.
