I had Cesarean delivery 5 months back and my baby is on BM only.
I have put on so much weight and want to reduce it. Can I start Yoga, jogging and abdomen crunches? If I go for these exercises-is there any chance it will affect my stiches and BM?

Hetal replied. yes you can start yoga, you can start wearing stomach belt/abdominal belt,,that helps in bringing stomach back to shape///only if you are not feeling it like unmanageable,,or you feel sweating near the incision or you happen to get pains...look for bigger size or wear a cotton cloth,wrap it at your comfort around your belly area,,thru out the day..
during bf session,,remove it !
avoid jogging, ne stressful activity,,have quaker rolled oats/breaskfast cereal in your diet//or rolled oats boiled and with milk and some cardamom,,first thing first in morning...it will help you come back in shape and great for BM supply !!!
make sure to eat celery in your salads,,it is hard fibr,,great for gettng back to shape,,
avoid excess dairy,,limit only 2glasses a day//limit to low fat 2% option and replace one serving with low fat yogurt(with some nuts to brunch),,have multigrain toast and bread in your diet,,and have lots of fibr in your diet..
your baby is 5months old,,once he is 6months old,introduce him solids and after he starts acceptng solids,,you can alternate your diet further to low fat options, limits mini meals and you can increase your activity level !!
as for time being,avoid ne stressful activity,,,look for low fat options, but dont hurry up,,,your baby nutrition depnds on you,,so go slow..why you want to run..

My stomach size has increased a lot and has weird shape. Some time I feel itchiness around incision area and had pain in lower abdomen till 4th months.
Yesterday I did Yoga for 10min, abdomen crunches(did only 5)since night having lil pain in abdomen. Should I stop it?
I have no clue what kind of stomach belt to look in the market. Could u please give me some info abt it? I do leave in US.
