my 3 month young baby needs to nurse every 2 hours like a newborn!! her doc says to stall her to 3- 3.5 hrs but she doesn't cooperate and at every feed barely drinks for 10 minutes ( dunno the oz.s as i'm brstfeeding)she didn't gain enuff wt at her well baby chk up this month....doc says i might not be producing enough for her or she might to too lazy to work hard....or she might be just an active baby burning more calories than usual...
what do i do to improve her feeding habits and how do i find out if im producing enuff or no??!! she was born with a good weight of 7 lbs and 6 oz.s and gained good weight till two months.
please help!!!!

Only way to know how much u r producing is to pump ur milk using breast pump . Do this once and check . Your doubt will be cleared .
At 3 months (now he is 5.5months)my baby boy used to take 4 oz per feed and 7 - 8 feeds in a day . He used to take with a gap of 2.5 - 3 hours. Don't worry . She gets settled in a month or so . By the way where do u stay ?
