We are married for last 3.5 years and are blessed with son who would now turn 3. My husband has to travel a lot for his business and comes home once in a month for a week or so...
when he comes, obviously he feels attracted and at times we do hug or kiss in front of our son. Ofcourse there is no sexual act or anything before our son, but my question is, Is hugging or kissing(on cheeks) ok? we hardly get time for each other, its only when our son sleeps, we have sex... so that is not a problem, but small small acts like holding each other in arms, cuddling each other, is OK before our son?

How will he take this?

sss is absolutely right...i agree with her..i had read this in some newspaper or a book dont rmbr...just as parents when they fight or husbands abuse their wifes in front of children that affect childrens mind badly...same way its imp to show children that their parents love each other ..it makese them feel good...my 1 year daughter is so smart that if i hug my hubby in front of her she gv a big smile then she will come running to gv hug to my husband...my husband becomes so happy .....i do it purposely in frnot of her..there is nothing worng ...of course not doing things like smooching...or going further...

It is perfectly normal to do such things even i and my husband do it there should not be any guilt,be happy and except sex do everything in front of your kid.Relax......

hi jennifer,
we are married for 2.4 yrs and i also have a son who is 1.4 yrs old.my husband also tour a lot and whenever at home we show our affection for eachother.i dont think there is any problem in it.actually it is good for the child.it create a sense of security in the child to know that dada and mama love eachother and they both love him.so i would say nothing wrong in it,you may go ahead.ofcourse showig too much affection for eachother when other family members are around is not healthy.they may ot be comfortable.but i dont think your son will feel the same.so be cool and enjoy yourself.
