Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

today i came to know that my best friend had missed miscarriage.her baby died between 9 to 10 weeks.she came to know in 12 week when she went for foetal heart sounds .she is in complete shock and cannot beleive that she lost her baby.she is asking me one thing over and over again why did i lose my baby?
frankly i do not know the medical reason behind this. can anybody tell me .what are her chances of conception after miscarriage?how long she has to wait to conceive?
is there anybody who conceive after miscarriage?
i am trying to give her positive hopes which is very difficult.cause she is the one who is going thru this difficult phase.
i would appreciate anybody giving information of pregnancy after miscarriage so atleast i can show her successful stories.

her dr gave her only one reason that it maybe due to chromosomal or genetic disorder.but what happen inside nobody could specify.

she had her D&c on wed and will be staying with us till monday.it is lot lot harder then i imagined.nobody should go thru this phase.

Iam really sorry to hear such a news about ur frnds pregnency.I know how she must be feeling,Its even hard on ur part to console her.....I have been there,my close frnd lost her 1st baby during her 41/2mths,it was pretty hard,psychologically she often thinks about past.

What did the Dr,say the reason is?If you ask me sometimes the cervical mucus might be the reason too,may be some hard work (physical) which she has done might have affected her.....

Yes,I know many of them who have conceived babies after miscarriage,give her +ve thoughts.Hope a speedy recovery...
